| Prerequisites: |
Pursuit Coxswain:
- 5 months certified as coxswain.
-
20 total hours u/w (15 hrs day; 5 hrs night).
- Hours must be within 3 months of class convening date.
- 3029 for RSC, CRC, JUFE within 6 months of class.
- BTM certified.
- PBCM certified.
- Member must be filling an E5 or above PCOXN billet.
Pursuit Crew member:
- 3 months certified as crew member.

To best accommodate field requirements, courses will alternate between cutters & stations (CB-OTH vs. SPC-LE/RBS). These convenings will be specified when schedule submitted to TQC, via FC & CG-731 SEPCOR.. Requests for international students will be considered on a case by case basis. For planning purposes, international students should plan to arrive three weekdays in advance of course convening date to enable adequate time for skills

Purpose
Provides advanced training to achieve the elements of skill and knowledge necessary for safe and effective performance of boarder interdiction and non-compliant vessel pursuit tactics. This is a performance based course for certified OTH, SPC-LE, and Defender Class coxswains and crew members. Training consists of day and night non-compliant vessel pursuit tactics, non-lethal use of force, crew communications, illumination techniques, and navigation best-practices. The course emphasizes boat crew teamwork and communication in a high-risk environment.
